Being Disciples, Making Disciplers, Maturing Them into the Body of Christ

Our Story

A Life Given to People

Bill and Leah DeLaughter have spent decades walking alongside individuals, families, and communities in the work of faith. Their ministry is rooted in the conviction that transformation happens in relationship — in the unhurried, honest spaces where people are truly known. They have served in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda since 2005

From local church ministry to international outreach, Bill and Leah have served in a wide range of contexts — always with the same commitment: to love people well, to teach with clarity and warmth, and to invest in the next generation of disciples.

Their approach to ministry is deeply personal. They believe that discipleship is not a program but a way of life — and that the most lasting fruit grows in the soil of genuine, long-term relationship. "A few years ago in Uganda, I encountered a man from Tanzania. When he learned I had lived in Tanzania and had a focus of discipleship, wanted to introduce me to the discipleship method that had helped them so much. It wasn't very long before it became apparent that it was the same discipleship method and material we used. As together we researched back into how he came about to become a part of the program, I became excited to learn that he was the 15th generation away from us and was a result of the ongoing movement we hoped to produce. The best part? He had no idea who we were. It isn't about us, it is about Jesus, and a deepening relationship with him. As John the Baptist says that we must decrease and Jesus increase. I praise God that we continue to be a part of the story of what God is doing in East Africa." - Bill DeLaughter

What We Believe

Ministry Values

Discipleship First

Every dimension of ministry flows from a commitment to intentional, relational discipleship — walking with people over time, not just in moments.

Rooted in Scripture

Bill and Leah's teaching is grounded in careful, prayerful engagement with the Word — always seeking to connect ancient truth to present life. They maturing process involves setting up healthy habits to clear our minds so that we can hear and discern the will of the Father.

Community & Belonging

They believe the local church is God's primary vehicle for transformation, and they invest deeply in building communities where people truly belong. As people become disciplers, part of the program is that they create accountability with other leaders so that no man or woman is alone. We are created for a community with Christ at its center.

Generosity of Spirit

Resources, time, and wisdom are freely shared — because what has been freely received should be freely given.
